Marković Estate

Situated in the picturesque valley of Dobrsko Selo, just a few kilometers ‒ and a rather harrowing drive ‒ from Cetinje, Marković winery is one of Montenegro’s most exciting small wine producers. At about 350 meters in altitude, the valley has just the right climate for the maturation and ripening of cooler climate grapes including Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir, as well as the local varietals Bijela Tamjanika and Crna Tamjanika. Family-owned and run, nothing here is rushed or bottled before it’s ready ... reflecting both the passion and patience of its creators. Oh, and did we mention those stunning labels?
