Barolo Cerretta is produced from the splendid vineyard in the Serralunga area. It is an intense garnet red color with ruby hues. The nose is complex with rich floral aromas of roses and violets and hints of spices especially white pepper and nutmeg. The palate is bold with character, defined by prominent tannins that impart a long persistent finish that echoes flavors of red fruit and licorice.

The Prunotto estate is located in Alba, the most important city in the Langhe area halfway between Barbaresco and Barolo. The Antinori family, charmed by such unique vineyards and soils, decided in 1989 to invest time and energy in this terroir, confident that their efforts would make Prunotto what it is today: one of the most important winemaking estates in the Piedmont region. The estate’s holding in the Bussia cru, in Monforte d’Alba, is one of the most celebrated vineyards in all of Barolo.
